The Council has no Staff vacancies at the present time in 2025.
COUNCIL MEMBERS
The Cymru/Wales Local Government elections for all Town and Community Councils were held on 5 May 2022 when seven of the eight Risca Town Council member seats were elected for the ensuing next term of office of five years. The Council sadly lost two Members in 2024 and 2025, made one Councillor co-option in June 2024 and another in January 2026 to bring the current quota of seven out of eight Members.
As at January 2026 the Council has one member vacancy to consider a co-option for the Town and Fernlea Ward.
